The MAGA Doctrine
The MAGA Doctrine For centuries, poverty was the default condition of humanity. People lived short, difficult lives with limited opportunity and no upward mobility. That changed not because of socialism or government handouts—but because of capitalism. The free market unlocked innovation, competition, and entrepreneurship. It created wealth where none existed and lifted billions out of desperation.
Despite this, there’s a growing chorus—especially among younger generations—romanticizing socialism and demonizing capitalism. They point to inequality, corporate greed, and consumerism as evidence that the system is broken. But they ignore the facts. Two hundred years ago, 84% of the world lived in extreme poverty. Today, 90% do not. Life expectancy, education, access to technology—every metric has improved, thanks to the power of free enterprise.
The irony is that many who advocate for socialism do so from smartphones built by private companies, on platforms created by capitalists, enjoying lifestyles unimaginable under the systems they glorify. The problem isn't the market—it's the erosion of its principles through cronyism, regulation, and government interference.
