The Lost Book of Enki
The Lost Book of Enki Mining was arduous and exhausting. Despite their advanced technology, extraction required the physical labor of the Anunnaki, who dug, transported, and processed the metal under extreme conditions. For centuries, they endured the burden of this work, but over time, discontent grew among them. Complaints and internal conflicts arose, as their race was not accustomed to intense manual labor.
Tensions reached a breaking point when the mining workers rebelled against their superiors. They refused to continue gold extraction, demanding a change in their working conditions. Enlil, rigid in his authority, proposed punishing the insubordinate workers, but Enki, more cunning and creative, suggested another solution: instead of forcing the Anunnaki to continue mining, he proposed creating a new workforce. Thus, the idea was born to mold a creature that could replace them in gold extraction, giving rise to the great transformation that would define the future of humanity.
