The Lost Book of Enki
The Lost Book of Enki The differences between Enki and Enlil not only divided the Anunnaki but also shaped the destiny of humanity. Enki, the creator of mankind, saw humans as more than just laborers—he considered them his children, beings with the right to know the secrets of the gods. Enlil, on the other hand, viewed them as an uncontrollable threat, a creation that should never have been given free will.
The conflict escalated when Marduk, Enki’s son, began to claim his right to rule the Earth. Marduk sought to become the supreme leader, displacing the dominance of Enlil and his lineage. This led to a direct confrontation with Ninurta, Enlil’s heir, who defended his father’s authority.
Political disputes among the Anunnaki turned into full-scale wars. Marduk seized control of Babylon, proclaiming it the center of divine power. This was seen as an unacceptable challenge by Enlil and his followers. Battles erupted across different cities, temples were destroyed, and the gods took sides among the humans, using them as armies in their own struggles for power.
